Arctic Wolf is excited to announce several new features for our Managed Risk solution that will be available to all users on February 13, 2025.

IVA - Port Scan Exemption
While all attempts are made to make vulnerability scanning as minimally impactful as possible, there are times when certain assets or applications respond erratically to the scanning process. To minimize these occurrences, we will introduce the ability to have certain ports excluded from the scan – either across all assets or only on certain IP addresses.
This allows for more through attack surface coverage while minimizing disruptions to your environment.
IVA - Disable NMAP Activities Outside Scan Schedule
Arctic Wolf host identification scans (NMAP discovery) currently run as a continuous process to ensure newly deployed assets are discovered in a timely manner. Some users prefer to only have scanner activity occurring during the specified Scan Window setting so we are providing an option to adhere to that.
IVA - Advanced Scan Configuration Options
For some environments, additional scanner configuration for host identification and vulnerability scanning is helpful to provide either better performance or minimize adverse interactions with certain assets or applications. Arctic Wolf will be including new options to allow configuration of the following capabilities:
- Host Identification Scan Intensity
- Scan Interval
- Maximum Concurrent Scans
